Meet Our Dentists
Dr. Carl Voss
Practicing dentistry for over 30 years, Dr. Carl Voss, DMD, graduated from dental school in 1984 from the University of Pennsylvania.
Upon graduation from Penn, Dr. Voss received the Mosby scholarship award for academic excellence. While running his dental practice, he taught dental classes and served on the admissions committee for two years at Penn.
In 2003, Dr. Voss earned his fellowship in Oral Implantology and received local and national recognition for being among the best in the dental field.

His professional memberships include the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The International Congress of Oral Implantologists, A.D.A., A.G.D., P.D.A and both the Philadelphia and Chester County dental societies.
Always the academic scholar, before dental school Dr. Voss spent ten years as a social worker and also obtained his master’s degree in Counseling Psychology.
Dr. Voss is a family practitioner who values treating all patients how he would expect to be treated. Above all else, he strives to meet each patient’s individual needs.
Dr. Iliana Tati
Dr. Iliana Tati completed her undergraduate degree at Manhattan College in NY, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
In 2003, Dr. Tati moved to Philadelphia, where she received her doctorate from one of the Ivy League dental schools, the University of Pennsylvania.
After finishing dental school, Dr. Tati joined Aesthetic Dentistry of Charlottesville, Virginia, where she practiced for several years.

While she enjoyed her time there, Dr. Tati missed Philadelphia and decided to move back. After a long search, in 2011, she decided to call West Chester her home.
Dr. Tati became a partner at First Dental of West Chester, and she feels fortunate and honored to be part of the legacy that Dr. Sumner, Dr. Thompson, and Dr. Spellman built since 1946.
Dr. Tati’s primary goal is to provide the highest quality dental care. Her involvement with study clubs and professional meetings keeps her current on the latest science and technology, which means her patients can be confident they will receive the latest proven treatment standards, plus the highest quality results.
She believes each patient has different needs and expectations and therefore feels that all treatment should be customized according to those needs.
In addition to providing comprehensive cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Tati offers the Invisalign(R) system for straightening teeth and Glo, an in-office whitening system.
Dr. Tati is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Pennsylvania Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Chester and Delaware County Dental Society.
Dr. Tati is a West Chester Rotary Club member and enjoys giving back to the community through this organization.
Dr. Tati and her husband Mir have two boys, Byorn and Hayce, and love exploring Chester County, traveling, and going to the beach.
Dr. George Marcantonis
Dr. George Marcantonis was born in Woodbury, NJ. Living part of his childhood in Athens, Greece, Dr. Marcantonis returned to the US at 14 in search of a better tomorrow.
Dr. Marcantonis graduated from Millville Senior High School in 1994, then he moved on to and graduated from Richard Stockton College of NJ in 1998.
At Stockton, Dr. George earned a BS in Biology (Pre-dental track) and then moved on to Temple University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree, graduating in 2002.

After dental school, Dr. Marcantonis worked in several dental offices in New Jersey while waiting patiently for an opportunity to buy into an excellent practice.
In 2012 Dr. Marcantonis bought into the practice of his dreams, taking over a great dentist for over 40 years, Dr. John Spellman.
Dr. Spellman’s uncle, Elwood Spellman, started the practice during the mid-first half of the 20th century.
Dr. Marcantonis prides himself in providing high-quality dental care for his patients in a comfortable and compassionate setting.
Dr. Marcantonis also emphasizes pain-free and conservative dentistry and empathizes with the fearful.
Dr. George Marcantonis, his wife Agnoula, and three daughters (Eleni, Katerina, and Christina) live in Thornton, PA.
He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, loves soccer, loves singing, and loves the beach.
Meet Our Staff
Jennifer, Office Manager
Jennifer has worked in the dental field for over 22 years and has been on the First Dental of West Chester staff since 2007. She now has over 12 years of experience as a Dental Office Manager. Jennifer prides herself in building lasting relationships and being able to help patients with their dental insurance and financial options. She has experience in the dental office’s front and back areas. Outside the dental office, Jennifer enjoys baking and traveling with her husband with their two dogs, camping, and riding their motorcycle all over the US.
Kathy, Patient Coordinator
Kathy has worked in the dental field for 27 years and has been with First Dental of West Chester since 2009. As our patient coordinator, she offers supportive help to our patients by answering phones, scheduling appointments, obtaining insurance, and planning treatment. She is compassionate and takes time with each patient to make them feel comfortable and informed. She enjoys spending time with her three dogs and two cats in her free time.
Vicki, Patient Coordinator
Vicki continually adds to our atmosphere with her friendly disposition, treating you as another member of our growing family. As she welcomes you to the practice, you will find her ready to provide you with exceptional service and care. Vicki has been with our office for 39 years. Vicki and her husband have been married for 38 years and have two children and five grandchildren. Outside the office, Vicki enjoys reading & spending time with her family and friends.
Barbara, Patient Coordinator
Barbara is one of our charismatic Patient Coordinators. Barbra will go above and beyond to ensure that your First Dental of West Chester visit is all about you!
She started her career in dentistry in 1992, where she was trained in chairside duties and obtained her Radiology license. Barbra took 16 years off to raise her family and recently re-entered the dental field and has been with First Dental since 2017. In her spare time, you can find her at the ice hockey rink with her husband, Craig, and sons, Austin and Dylan.

Kathy, Dental Assistant
Kathy has been with our office for 47 years, currently Dr. Tati’s dental assistant. Kathy enjoys interacting with each and every one of her patients and is especially good at making them feel comfortable in the office. Her upbeat attitude is very appealing to her patients as well as her teammates. In Kathy’s spare time, she enjoys playing the Native American flute and spending time with her African Grey bird Kunta whom she has had for 43 years (he enjoys listening to Kathy play the flute also!)

Anita, Hygienist
Anita has been with First Dental of West Chester part-time since 2004. Anita graduated from Harcum College with a Dental Hygiene degree in 2005 and, in 2010, received her license in local anesthetic. Anita’s role as our Dental Hygienist is to provide comfortable care, a thorough assessment of findings, dental hygiene treatment planning, if needed, delivery of local anesthesia, prophylactic care/debridement, patient education, and oral hygiene instruction. She enjoys spending time with her husband and
PJ, Hygienist
PJ has worked in the dental field for 23 years and has been with First Dental of West Chester since 2011. PJ graduated from Harcum College in 1997 with a Dental Hygiene degree. She enjoys educating her patients on oral hygiene and care and helping them set goals to improve their oral health. Outside of the office, PJ volunteers at local schools to increase dental hygiene awareness. In her spare time, PJ enjoys spending time with her two sons, Nick & Aidan, whether it is outside playing sports or in the kitchen cooking.
Nicole, Hygienist
Nicole joined First Dental of West Chester in 1999. She graduated from Harcum College in 1999 with a Dental Hygiene degree. Nicole enjoys the challenges and rewards of working with patients and seeing their healthy, bright smiles. In Nicole’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Jay and children Ava and Jake doing outdoor activities. Nicole is also involved in animal rescue and has three dogs of her own.
